Will the cover support the weight of a child or pet?
Yes. Every cover is built with a welded aluminum frame strong enough to support the weight of an adult. Children and pets can safely walk or stand on the cover.
How long does the polycarbonate last?
The polycarbonate includes UV inhibitors that protect it for 10+ years before any yellowing or breakdown. We have been building covers for over 15 years and have not had to replace one yet.
Can the cover lock from the inside?
Yes. Every cover includes an interior locking rod. You can secure the cover from inside the basement, and the rod also props the cover open when you need access to the well.
How far do you travel for installations?
We serve Central Kansas, typically within about an hour of the Hutchinson area. We can go a bit further for the right project.
How long until I get my cover?
From estimate to installation, plan on about two weeks. Each cover is built from scratch to your exact measurements, so build time is typically about a day once your order is in the queue.
